Already, when Klaus Backes began commissioned production of machine components and tools in 1974, customer satisfaction was a central focus as much as precision workmanship.
Reacting flexibly to customer requirements has remained a central part of our company philosophy up to today. Success speaks for itself: in our two plants inBruchmühlbach-Miesau, we produce precision turned, mill-cutted, stamped and bent parts and tools as well as fine mechanical components in series or in individual production.
Because we have vertical integration that is unusual in the branch, for instance, we manufacture our own tools, your order will remain in our hands from beginning to the end. In the area of electroplating, we work together with our partner of many years on the factory premises. This is how we ensure first-class quality, avoid transport times and costs and can react quickly and flexibly. And of course, you benefit from the resulting cost advantages.
The human being at the centre: leading in qualification and training
Efficient work progress and modern business operation are the key to the more than competitive prices we offer. We stop the cuts however, when it comes to hiring qualified staff - the majority of our staff in production are trained metal workers. Our employees are given comprehensive training by us and committed to the guiding principles we have given ourselves in terms of quality.
We attach great importance to training our own next generation of skilled workers, because excellent personnel is our most important asset. In this way we create the basis for excellently trained staff.
Zukunftsregion Westpfalz
Klaus Backes GmbH is a member of the "Zukunftsregion Westpfalz e.V." association. We want to actively shape the future of our region together with other entrepreneurs, responsibles of organizations and elected representatives. We want to support the development of the West Palatinate positively.

The association ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz was founded in 2012 in order to bundle the forces available in the region and to implement joint projects.

To strengthen the future viability of the West Palatinate region!
Over 250 members from business, science, politics and civil society testify to broad support in the region. Due to the steadily growing number of members, our well networked supporters and our diverse activities, we have earned national recognition. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate and external partners such as the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region support us in our work and, together with other important actors, are represented in the board of trustees that advises and accompanies the association.
